These images were taken in early motherhood while desperately trying to find any appealing formal aspect of my life within the seemingly constant surroundings. My only pleasures at the time seemed to come in the form of staring blankly out into space for brief moments to experience moments of solitude.
Some photographic images later merged with digital media in the creation of abstract structures. Thus, getting away of what I knew of my environment and transforming into something deeming more pleasant. These images are the recreation of my closet which I would stare at for long periods of time while nursing my son.
