Bio
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. Dobrota is a MFA graduate and has over ten years teaching experience to a wide variety of learners of all ages. Her teaching experience ranges across art disciplines that include introductory level through advanced lessons in painting, drawing, illustration, as well as art history.
She has instructed art courses at Ohio University, Hocking College, Washington State Community College and Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, New York. Courses she has taught and designed curriculum for include: Art Appreciation, Art History I, II, Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Ceramics, Special Topics, and Art Introductory Courses.
Most recently, she was the artist of the month of March 2022, for Women’s Caucus for Art and was presented in, Women in Art, at the Las Laguna Art Gallery in Laguna Beach, CA. She also illustrated work for the published children’s book titled Pawpaw Is My Favorite Flavor! Her work is represented by Starbrick Gallery and The Art Store.
